Burning Crusade Quest Guide

The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King are both expansions of the World of Warcraft with WotLK being the latest of the two.

The World of Warcraft Burning Crusade expansion is very popular among WoW gamers since it offers many exciting benefits and features to players including the introduction of two new character races – the Draenei and the Blood Elves. Draenei has the ability to attain the level of shaman which the Hordes, in previous games, have the sole ability to do. On the other hand, Blood Elves can now become paladins, who in the previous games ca be attained only by the Alliance class.

A new continent called “Outland” is also introduced where you will encounter a large variety of new monsters, new loots and quest items, as well as new quests for your characters. A new profession, Jewel crafting, is launched as well. Jewel crafted items are hot items and can bring you good profit when sold to the Auction House.  There are also brand new spells, a whole host of new zones and regions, and a number of new, finely-tuned, challenging dungeons to explore.

Questing in the Burning Crusade starts at level 60 up. Before you start though, it is important  to clear out your inventory first and make it certain that you store all of your unnecessary items. Move your Hearthstone to Honor Hold if you are Alliance and Thrallmar if you are Horde.

The new instances in the Outland have been made shorter due to the popularity of the Scarlet Monastery and Dire Maul. All of the instances in Outland are made along the lines of the ones typically encountered in Azeroth.

Battlegrounds are not that different since they were before with a higher level cap and with the addition a new Battleground called Eye of the Storm. There are two levels in the new battleground, 61-69 and level 70.

In the Burning Crusade expansion of the World of Warcraft, reputation is an essential new part of the game and one of the best new features. There’s also gold to be made from the grinding of reputation and the farming of reputation items.

Once you breach the Dark Portal of the Burning Crusade, the following factions will be available to you namely Aldor, located in Shattrath City and Shadowmoon Valley and the Scryers. Aldor is an ancient order of Draenei priests who support the Sha’tar fight against the Burning Legion along with the other dominant faction in Outland, The Scryers. The Scryers are Bloodelves led by Voren’thal the seer who has broken with Prince Kael’thas and taken up assisting the Naaru in Shattrath City. Once players reach Shattrath City, they normally have to choose between the Aldor and the Scryers.

Raising reputations for both factions is relatively simple since either side fights the Burning Legion and collects faction specific tokens to advance in favor. For the Aldor these are Marks of Kil’jaeden, Marks of Sargeras and Fel Armaments and for the Scryers these are Firewing Signets, Sunfury Signets and Arcane Tombs.
